She has worked with top brands such as The Walt Disney Company, Times of India Group, and Bloomberg TV India, and has been involved in content development for major networks like IN10 Media, Amazon, Viacom18, Zee Network, Jio Cinemas, and Disney+ Hotstar. Alka’s repertoire includes commercially as well as critically acclaimed web and TV shows like Abhay and Sadda Haq. Known for capturing the pulse of the evolving culturescape of small-town India, she skillfully translates it into her stories through relatable and endearing characters. Currently, as the Head of Content at Rusk Media, she has created and overseen successful shows such as School Friends and Plot 1 by 2. Her work earned her a nomination for Best Dialogue at the 2021 Filmfare OTT Awards.
