An alumni from the School of Planning and Architecture Arati Singh started her career with NDTV news in 1995 and was consequently transferred to the launch team of India’s first daily breakfast show, ”Good Morning India“ and later went on to Head the show.
In 2003, Arati played a key role in the launch of the NDTV news channels where she set up the production division of the channel in Mumbai. She has conceptualized and produced one of the flagship shows for NDTV called Jai Jawan which won multiple awards.
In 2007, she was instrumental in helping launch India’s first lifestyle channel NDTV Goodtimes and was the Head of the Style Division where she and her team were the first people in India to introduce wedding programming to Indian audiences with award winning shows like “The Big Fat Indian Wedding”, “Band Baajaa Bride” and ”Yarri Dostii Shaadi”
In 2013, she took over as Head of Programming of GOODTiMES and in 2019 she took over as CEO of the company and is focused on making the channel available to a larger audience by going digital, multi-platform and multi-lingual.
